  • 5th Annual General Meeting held in Cebu, Philippines
  • Agent of the year 2003: SENATOR International, Germany
  • Official WIN Office located in Bassersdorf/Zurich, Switzerland
  • New internal web-tools implemented
  • Customer folder and various marketing tools produced
  • End of 2004 the network was covering 66 countires



2003

  • 4th Annual General Meeting held in Dubai U.A.E.
  • Agent of the year 2002: APC Hong Kong
  • Local rates and tariffs of each WIN member filed in the extranet
  • Track & Trace tool started and implemented
  • End of 2003 the network was covering 54 countires



2002

  • 3rd Annual General Meeting was held in Santiago, Chile.
  • The WIN logo got registered as the official brand of WIN.
  • Various task forces formed to develop the WIN network further.
  • New WIN webpage as an interactive workingtool successfully introduced.
  • 1st global contract with an aircarrier signed.
  • New Standard of Procedures (SOP's)globally introduced.
  • Network expanded to 59 members



2001

  • 2nd Annual General Meeting was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  • Additional internal rules have been elaborated.
  • An internal Quality System Program was successfully implemented.
  • The network was extended to 56 countries.
  • Global contracts with Airlines and Shipping Lines were negotiated.



2000

  • 45 independent forwarding companies from all continents found the WIN Association in Sevilla, Spain on January 17th 2000.
  • The Articles of Association were formulated and the WIN Association was officially registered in Switzerland, where its head office is located.
  • The network was extended to 51 countries.
  • A common Track & Trace system was evaluated



1999

  • About 20 forwarding agents from all over the world used to work together since many years.
  • Those forwarding companies agreed on founding together a new global network which consists exclusively independent and equivalent partners.
